Today we began with some AL TUCK and a couple off his beautiful new album FOOD FOR THE MOON. In my opinion, its the strongest release of its kind all year. ("of its kind": Dylan/Cohenesque canadian singer/songwriter.)

that album includes heavy hitters such as Idris Muhammad on drums, Ron Carter on Bass, Pepper Adams (bari), Randy Brecker (trumpet).
Beginning our second set. Three tracks off of Arthur Lymans Cotton Fields

The Group In 1963 included Arthur Lyman, Alan Soares, John Kramer and Harold Chang, all switching instruments thruout. Arthur Lyman was a huge figure touching on many different styles, check it out.
Followed by The HARMONITES INTERNATIONAL STEEL ORCHESTRA
An album I found that is pressed in Jamaica. Not much relevant information could be found online. we heard

The Salsoul Orchestra- Salsoul Hustle (Salsoul Orchestra. The studio band for artists on the Salsoul label. This was recorded in 1975)

The Pointer Sisters- Grinding in your face. Written by Son House originally. Off of "Thats a Plenty" released in 1974
Stevie Wonder- Have a talk with God. Off of Songs in the key of life. 1976. One of Stevie's Funkiest tracks!
